In short: we count anonymous visits, we do not sell data, we run no ads. Drawings from the calculator and quote form are not kept as a site archive.
Personal data controller: Kupec OÜ, Reg. No. 12918950, Paldiski mnt 245D, 13525 Tallinn, Estonia. Data questions — vadim@formstal.eu.
The calculator uses an anonymous visit id (in the browser and the fs_vid cookie) so a new guest is not counted as a return. From the IP the server reads country and city — the shop sees city and actions (opened a page, uploaded a drawing, downloaded a quote), with no name and no IP on screen. There are no advertising or marketing trackers.
We do not use or store client login session cookies on the public site. The fs_vid cookie is only an anonymous visit counter (up to 12 months or until you delete it in the browser); it is not an advertising profile. Staff shop/admin login uses separate service session cookies; they are not part of the guest calculator.
Drawings uploaded into the calculator’s 3D window for pricing are not kept as a permanent site archive. A copy stays in your browser (local quote storage) and is removed when you delete the drawing/quote or clear site data in the browser. To read STEP/PDF/DXF the server creates temporary work files; they are only for pricing and re-reading the same file and are not published. Technical copies in the server work folder are typically kept for up to a few days and cleared during server maintenance — we do not use them as a customer filing system and do not share them with third parties.
Drawings and data sent through the site form for price confirmation are not stored as a site archive: the package is e-mailed at once to us (Formstål) for review, confirmation and price adjustment, and a confirmation goes to the e-mail you entered in the form. These materials are used only for quoting, agreement and production of the order; they are not shared with third parties (other than necessary e-mail delivery).
